are there any list of mortgage companies for VA home loans.?

i understand banks and realators don't like va loans. where is a good place to find a mortgage company who will give one . how long does it take.

1. Banks and Realtors love VA loans. They help our servicemen and women afford a home. Go to the VA web site and see if they have a list of lenders for your state. Also, many large banks offer VA loans. I know Baird & Warner Financial offers VA and FHA loans.
2. Go to Wells Fargo, they are pushing VA loans right now and the rates are unreal. Good luck.
3. What? I love VA loans! I don't know anyone who doesn't. Call local lenders to see if they are authorized to issue VA loans. It takes 30 - 45 days to close VA loans.
4. Any mortgage banker should be able to do a VA loan. I have one closing Sept 30. I got him 6% with no points & no origination. He thinks I hung the moon.
5. As you can see, every bank and loan officer loves VA loans. I agree, although I am not a loan officer anymore. Check Wells Fargo (my former employer) and be ready to provide all of your paperwork. But, rate shop without a hit to your credit because everyone is having problems finding good customers...like you :}. Try your credit union, I want to say that their rates are always better.
